Details
Pitch Tank is a business pitch competition inspired by startup investment shows. Participants
present their business ideas to a panel of judges who evaluate them on innovation, feasibility,
scalability, and presentation.
Target Participants
• Undergraduate & Postgraduate students
• Teams of 1-3 members
Rules & Regulations:
Eligibility
1. Participants can compete individually or in teams of up to 3 members.
2. Open to faculties too.
Pitch Rules
1. Each team will get 5 minutes to pitch.
2. Followed by 3-5 minutes of Q&A from judges.
3. Pitch decks must not exceed 10 slides.
Idea Rules
1. Ideas must be original and innovative.
2. Participants can pitch:
• Startup ideas
• Product innovations
• Tech solutions
• Social entrepreneurship ideas
3. Previously implemented ideas are allowed.
Presentation Rules
1. PPT / PDF allowed.
2. No internet dependency recommended.
3. Teams must bring backup copies of their presentation.
Disqualification
Teams may be disqualified if:
• Plagiarism is detected.
• Time limits are exceeded repeatedly.
• Offensive or inappropriate content is used.
Judges Decision
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

• 2-3 entrepreneurship professionals/faculty & 1-2 student innovators.
Event Duration
Approximately 2-3 hours
Terms & Conditions:
1. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the event structure if
required.
2. Participants must register before the deadline.
3. On desk entries will be consider.
4. The organizers are not responsible for technical issues during presentations.
5. Participants must adhere to college discipline rules.
6. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the event if minimum participation is not
met.

The Pitch Tank will be judged:
Innovation (20%),
Market Potential (20%),
Relevance to Theme (20%),
Feasibility (20%),
Business Model (20%).
Presentation (20%).
