"Robo Race" is an exciting racing competition where manually controlled robots compete against time and obstacles on a specially designed track. The event tests the speed, control, and stability of the robots as they maneuver through turns, bumps, bridges, and tricky paths. Participants must showcase both mechanical design and driving skills.
Round 1: Time Trial
●Each team will race solo on the track.
●Fastest teams (based on completion time and penalties) qualify for the next round.
Round 2: Knockout Race
●Head-to-head races between two teams.
Winners move ahead to finals.
Round 3: Final Showdown
●Top teams race simultaneously (or time-based depending on feasibility).
Fastest and cleanest run wins.
Rules & Regulations:
●Robots must be ready when called, or risk disqualification.
●Any damage to the track or misconduct leads to disqualification.
●Use of jammers or interference with other bots is strictly prohibited.
Judges’ decision is final and binding.
Other Information:
●Participants must bring their own robots and controllers.
●Power adapters and charging points will be made available.
●Teams should report at least 30 minutes before the event.
Evaluation Criteria:
Scoring and Penalties:
●+10 points for completing track.
●–5 seconds penalty for touching boundaries.
●–10 seconds penalty for skipping obstacles.
●Timer stops only when the bot fully crosses the finish line.
