Experience the thrill of speed and precision as remote-controlled boats race across the water! Participants will navigate their boats through a marked course, showcasing control, agility, and quick reflexes. The fastest lap times and smoothest maneuvers will decide the champions. Get ready for waves, splashes, and high-octane fun!
Rules & Regulations:
(1) Eligibility
Open to all students (B.Tech. / M.Tech. / B.Sc. / D.N.S. / Diploma).
Participation: 2–3 members per team.
(2) Open contest – anyone can take part.
(3) Teams must not have more than 3 students.
(4) Maximum width of the RC boat: 20 cm.
(5) Maximum length of the RC boat: 45 cm.
(6) Maximum voltage of the RC boat: 12V.
(7) The RC boat must be made by students only. Readymade boats are not allowed.
(8) Engine-powered boats are strictly not permitted.
(9) No changes allowed to the boat after participation in the first round.
(10) Any damage to the RC boat is the owner’s responsibility.
(11) Only one team member is allowed to control the remote of the boat. Controller cannot be changed during the event.
(12) Penalty: 15 seconds will be added if a team member touches the boat after placing it in the water.
(13) Timing will continue until the race is fully completed.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Race Format
Only one main round.
Fastest completion time wins.
- Penalties
Touching any obstacle = +5 seconds to total time.
- Equipment Rules
No change of battery or spare parts during the race.
Boats must be ready before the start.
- Conduct
Operate boats from the assigned control area.
No interference with other participants’ boats.
- Tie-Breaker
In case of a tie, a second race will be held between tied participants.
-Decision Authority
The Judge’s decision will be final in all matters regarding timing, penalties, and race conduct.
