Details
The game is in two rounds: elimination and final.
Rules & Regulations:
(1) It is an individual event.
(2) Only the first 150 students are allowed for this event.
(3) The final decision regarding any matter lies in the hands of the judges and is binding.
(4) Any student violating the above rules is subject to direct elimination.
(5) The elimination round is applicable if the number of participating teams is more than 10.
Evaluation Criteria:
Stage I: Elimination Round
(1) There will be a written test for all participating students.
(2) The written test duration will be 20 minutes.
(3) Questions will check the mathematical ability of participating students.
(4) Top 10 students will be selected for the final round based on the points gained in the written test.
Stage II: Final Round
(5) In the final round, there are 3 sub-rounds.
(6) For each question, students will have only 30 seconds in each round.
(7) For a correct answer, the student earns 10 points.
(8) For a wrong answer, the student loses 5 points.
(9) Students can pass a question.
(9.1) If another student answers the passed question correctly, they earn 5 points.
(9.2) If answered incorrectly, they lose 5 points.
(10) There will be 2 rounds of asking questions to the top 10 students.
(11) After these 2 rounds, 5 students from the top 10 will be eliminated.
(12) The remaining top 5 students will play a buzzer round.
(13) For each buzzer round question, students will have 30 seconds to answer.
(14) The winner will be decided when all rounds are completed.
