Details
(1) Type: Autonomous Robotics Competition
(2) Theme: Build and showcase your robot’s intelligence by making it follow a predefined black or white line path on a contrast background automatically, quickly, and accurately.
(3) Team Size: 1 to 3 Members
(4) Duration: Each team gets 2 runs (best of two will be counted)
(5) Max time per run: 5 minutes
(6) Medium: Live, physical demonstration of the robot on the given track.
(7) The robot should autonomously follow the line without manual intervention.
Rules & Regulations:
(1) Do Not Touch the Robot
(1.1) Touching the robot during the competition will reduce 2 point per touch.
(1.2) Let the robot navigate on its own!
(2) 3 Stages of Computation
(2.1) Each stage is designed to test the robot's speed, accuracy, and ability to follow the line.
(2.2) For every stage, participants can earn 10 points.
Scoring System
(3) Total 30 point
(4) Per every stage you can earn 10 points.
(5) The 10 points divide into:
(5.1) 8 Points: Based on the robot's speed and distance covered in each stage. Faster and more accurate robots earn higher points.
(5.2) 2 Points: Awarded for not touching the robot during the stage. If the robot is touched, 2 negative points will be deducted.
Key Notes
(6) Stage Completion: To complete a stage, the robot must follow the line without any external interference. Touching is not allowed.
