Ship-Building

➔ Participants will be provided with all the materials required to build the ship.
➔ They will be guided by the co-ordinators.
➔ After the completion of the ship-building the ship would have to go through floating test.
➔ Every participant will be provided with certificate.
➔ Ship building will commence on 14th followed by floating test on 15th of oct 2022.
➔ All the ships will be judged without any partiality by the judges.
➔ The decision of the judges would be final.
➔ There would be two rounds in this event.
➔ Every participating group would be charged a participation fees of 500/- rupees only.
➔ Participants has to bare an additional fee of 250/- rupees after the last date of registration i.e. 13/10/22.

Rules & Regulations:
➔ The registration must be done prior to the commencement of the event.
➔ If failed to register before the given time, then they would be charged with extra entry fees for late registration and no extra time will be provided prior to testing.
➔ Only existing students of any Diploma or B.Tech. course may participate in this competition.
➔ The team must not have more than five students.
➔ Using any extra material brought by the participants will not be allowed.
➔ All the participants will be provided with same materials for fair competency.
➔ The ship would be checked for flotation period.
➔ The ship might be tested against artificially created waves.

Evaluation Criteria:
The ship should not exceed the dimension of 1 m length,0.35m breadth 0.65m height.
Round 1:
Time limit: 4hrs
Points earned:
Complete model according to criteria: 3 points on the model.
For ship quality of building and good paintng: 2 points.
Round 2:
Time limit: 300 sec
Points earned:
Each Check Point:1 point (Max points = 5),
1 point on floating of ship in the calm water.
1 point on the floating of ship in waves .
1 point on the floating of ship with the load of 500g.
2 point on the floating of ship with the load of 1000 g in waves.

Boat Racing

Complete your race without sinking your boat which may eliminate your boat.
Round 1:
➔ Place your RC boat in water track.
➔ Complete the path in minimum time.
➔ The obstacles will be minimum in the first round.
➔ First five participants will qualify for the round 2.
Round 2:
➔ The obstacles will much more in this round.
➔ The first three participants will be awarded.
➔ Complete your race in minimum time.

Rules & Regulations:
➔ This is the open contest and anyone can take part.
➔ The team should not have more than 3 students.
➔ The maximum width of the RC boat is 20cm.
➔ The maximum length of the RC boat is 45cm.
➔ The maximum voltage of the RC boat is 12V.
➔ The RC boat made by students only, Readymade boat should not allowed.
➔ Engine power boats are strictly not permitted.
➔ Participants are not allowed to make any changes in the boat after participating in first round.
➔ Any damaged to the RC boat, owners will be responsible.
➔ Only one team member will allow to control the remote of the boat, controller should not be change through the event.
➔ The penalty of 15seconds will be added, if the team member will touch the boat after putting the RC boat in water..
➔ The time will not stop until the race will complete.

Evaluation Criteria:
Round 1:
➔ Complete your race in minimum time.
➔ Hand touch will increase your time by 10 seconds
➔ Maximum three hand touch will allowed.
Round 2:
➔ Complete your race in minimum time.
➔ Hand touch will increase your time by 15 seconds
➔ Maximum two hand touch will allowed.

Working Model Competition

Participant group have to make a working model of ship or other working model of machinery onboard ship.

Rules & Regulations:
➔ Model should be in 100% working state
➔ Winner will be decided by the judge
➔ Participant group will have to bring their own working model

Evaluation Criteria:
➔ Model should be in 100% working state
➔ Innovative idea will be appreciated
